[Review] COSRx Centella Blemish Ampoule and Blemish Cream

Hi lovelies,

June already aye...

Lemme me just say, I haven't been going out of the house nor have I been using makeup for the last 3 months because of the movement control BUTTTT the pimples on my face have started aggravating. Before this, I only had to worry about my chin, now my cheeks as well because of wearing masks. *cry cry*

In December to January, I had a bad flare up on my chin and during that time, these 2 products kinda helped so just in case there are people out there looking for an honest review of these products, you've come to the right place. I tried them for at 2 months before writing this.
Disclaimer *Different people would react differently with different products, so if you are uncertain, please contact your skin specialist before using*

The first one, The Centella Blemish Ampoule.
After using for more than 2 months then wanna take picture

This is a serum you apply after toner. I think it works best as a calming agent for your inflamed skin. It cools it down and lessen the redness a bit.
It takes very long to work and the improvements are so so.
It healed my pimples but they will still come and it gets inflamed again. AND the process repeats itself.
So after I was done with this, I did not repurchase as it is also quite expensive.

The second one, The Centella Blemish Cream

Look at the cutie

This is also a rave product. You use after the ampoule or after using the acne patch.
I personally don't think it works wonders as it is with the ampoule.
You might have to wait a long time to see results and by that time, your acne would flare up again.
The smell is very pleasant though and it does have a cooling effect for your angry acne but it won't heal it completely.

Sorry for the horror. I was glad it helped calmed the acne down.
But the under the surface still got some problem.

I also have their acne patch, which absorbs the pus really well.
You can't use it for a prolonged period of time because it would slow down the acne drying process. This is probably the only item that I like and actually kinda works.

As a summary, other than the patch, I would not repurchase any of the other products.
If it works for you then good, I'm glad. But I still have to look for products for my acne. T___T

And thank you for reading this review, I know it's not pretty but I'm just writing down what I truly feel.

I'll try to update on some more acne products I've used but some of them really don't work for me that I stop using them after 2 weeks like that..

Cheers.
xoxo.

[Review] L'oreal Rouge Signature Lip Stain #121 I Choose

Hi lovelies,

Here's to another post! This time it's from L'oreal.
I've always love L'oreal lip products, especially the cream lipsticks...but sadly they don't stay on the lips as long as I hope so, thus I haven't bought one from the brand for quite some time.
Then one day my bestie wanted to try some lipsticks and we came across this line. She liked them so much that she raved to me for quite long.

After a few months I came across a sale for them and decided to take one. AND it was THE BEST DECISION OF MY LITTLE LIFE!!
The colours and names are different from when I bought them with my friend and I found out that they changed the formula, the colour a bit and the name.
So like total refurbished.

Feat: my cute amigurumi plant

I chose "I Choose" (hahahahahahahah) because of the subtle mlbb colour. It's super nice and makes me look healthy.
The product has a more velvet matte texture that's not so drying and they don't highly emphasise any lip lines.
The colour is like a fuschia leaning more towards pink and a bit of brown red. Hahaha..what...(Colours not my thing)

It looks very pink but I feel like it’s more of a mlbb colour

Fragrance...maybe there is a bit but I hardly notice it at all. Like there's none but I'm pretty sure there is one. (Okay...that's good enough)

Longevity...Not bad not bad. There is stain in the name so you must expect it to stain.
I say, yes it has a stain but not strong that you need super strong makeup remover to remove it.
Can last for about 3-4 hours like that....
Transfer....only once after you apply but the rest would already stain your lips.
Not drying and really comfortable on the lips.

Price....RM40. You can find it easily at a shop that carries L'oreal products.

That's all from me. I hope you guys liked it and see you next time.

Cheers, XX.

[Review] MAC Shot of Colour Lip Oil Lip Gloss #896 Let's Go Streakin'!

Hi lovelies,

Here for another review for ya. The MAC lip oil lip gloss~~ I think there was a lip oil a few years back but there were only a small amount of colour choices plus they were not actually lip gloss. haha
Anyways I didn't really know about them and they don't sell them anymore.
Luckily they came out with this one where they're more colour choices and the colour pay off is much higher.

The lip gloss is encased in a chic black casing (always my favourite) with a hint of the colour at the bottom.
Let's Go Streakin is like a light cinnamon colour which is my favourite lip colour.

The colour is quite semi opaque I guess and it's not a tint yea. It will not stain your lips and you need to remember to reapply.
The viscosity is quite high so it's not runny because having lip gloss sliding down your is not that pretty. haha

The applicator has a bit of a dent in it so you can get full contact with the lip contour I presume. Highly useful and the size is just nice.

Fragrance wise, yes there is one. A hint of vanilla, not that strong..but niceee.

Lasting power I would say a 2 hours, 3 tops if you don't eat.

Makes your lips feels super super soft. Really nice if you use it as a topper for them matte lipsticks. Pwettyy...

Hope you enjoy the mini review and see you guys another time. byesss

Cheers, XX.

[Review] Oil-blotting/ No Sebum Powder Battle (Innisfree, The Face Shop and Silky Girl)

Hi lovelies,

Today I'll write about all the sebum powders (I think that sounds about right??)
It's easier to call it sebum powder so...hahah
It's the war of the powders...

There are many types of sebum powders available in the market. At first I only see them in the korean shops but nowadays I see local brands carrying these powders as well. Yayyy

On to it..

1) Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder
This was the first one I bought and it's finish after 1 1/2  year hahahah. I mainly bought it because the face called out to me. Few seconds later, it's on the counter liao...hahah
I don't use much but I was glad that I bought it that I went and bought another one in another limited edition case, this time it's a cute action bunny. uwu
I saw on IG that they're gonna release a special mentos edition as well so if you like mentos, go geddit!
응 아니야

I use this powder to remove the excess oil on my face after applying makeup as well as throughout the day to remove oil on my face. Sometimes I pour a a bit ob my head to remove the oiliness especially if I'm walking out the whole day. I have bangs so this definitely came in handy when my bangs looked a bit flat because of the oil.

Heads up! There's a hint of fragrance but it's not a strong and overpowering one.

It's not that expensive (~RM20+)and it lasts you for a long time so go on and have a try is you guys are still deciding whether to buy it or not. That's why you're here right? heheh

2) The Face Shop Oil Clear Blotting Pact
I'm not kidding, this one was purely because of aesthetic but assa I didn't buy it myself.
My sister bought it for me for my birthday because I keep saying I like it. yayy
Price-wise, this is the most expensive out of the three (Almost RM60). This one is limited edition but I'm not sure if they have it on their own or not.

This one is basically the same sebum powder but compacted. So you can use it on your face but if you want to use it on your hair, you need to use the puff and apply it on your hair or use a powder brush. I don't think the puff can stay very clean for long if you use it on your head so that's why I rarely use this for my head. But I bring it around to mattify my face and a plus is that it has a mirror. wahhh

3) Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Powder
Aha!! This one...How can this be different from the first one?
Well, I also asked...I'll try my best to explain easily. There's not a lot anyways..
Basically, the mineral powder is to remove oil yea and mattify your face..
But this one does all that plus it blurs your pores making your face look flawless...kinda kindda.
So it's like a primer but in powder form.
The colour is light brown and not white like the others.
There's also a compact version buuuuuttt,  I dropped mine one day and the powder flew on the street. so bye bye.  I got this one because it seems safer.

Fragrance....yes....like the mineral powder as well.
Price is a bit more expensive than the mineral powder.

4) Silky Girl
I bought this because I had a whole day of competition and I don't want my face to look so oily throughout the whole day. Yes...I forgot all those 3 at home..
This one was inexpensive and I can use it on my hair and hand as well during my competition. Useful for both bowling and badminton. So this one is always in my sports bag..

It's not bad. It's actually almost similar to the Innisfree one and the price if no discount is actually almost the same but Watsons always have discounts yeayy. (RM22.90)

[Review] Rom&and Lip Gloss in #11 Pink Pumpkin and #07 Jujube

Hi lovelies,

Yayy Rom&and again today.

I ordered one of it from the website mlbb.com last time, liked the colour so much that I went and bought another one at the physical store at Sunway Pyramid.

I know they have another collection of lip gloss that's more glossy but it's not available physically in Malaysia so you need to buy from Shopee. They're almost Rm50 for one so I'll wait until I finish the ones I have first. Not easy when you keep seeing them on your IG feed yea...

The texture of these lip gloss are very light and and easy to apply. They're not runny and they sit nicely on the lips. They don't feel tacky and sticky at all.

Pigmentation is nice and quite strong. They do have tinting properties but not really strong so that's nice and okay for me. In these hot days, I don't feel like using products that are so matte all the time because I'll be hot and dehydrated as well anyways. hahah

Anyways, as for transferring onto other objects. After it sits on your lips for a while, the first when you go drink or eat, there will be a bit of transfer but after that there won't be any anymore.
I’ll add in extra pictures once I’ve taken them yea haha

There are many other colours to choose from, you can check them out on the website or find them on Shopee or the global Olive Young webbsite.

I hope you  guys have enjoyed this little review.
Stay home and stay safe (2020 motto).
I'll see you guys another time yea.
Bye...

Cheers, XX

[Review] MAC Prep and Prime Lip Primer and Fix Plus

 Hi lovelies,

Today I'll be reviewing the Prep and Prime line from MAC.
They are the lip primer and face setting spray yay!!

I've always wanted to try these two products because they've said to be great inclusion into your makeup routine.

On to it....

Lip Primer
Pretty aye
On the website, it is said to be a "colour free lipstick that smoothes and refines the lip"
I agree! They make application of their matte lipstick much easier and the lipstick doesn't feel so drying on the lips. You of course may use it with other lipstick okay, pssh...^-^

That's one of the reasons I decided to finally bought this product because I feel that wearing the matte lipstick was too drying. Though I've tried wearing lip balms and vaseline as a base, they will ultimately feel dry again afterwards. Ive not experienced this while using the lip primer. Assa!!

I got mine from the spring 2020 collection. The petal something. Basically the same but with a matte pink casing. That's all! hahahah
It retailed for RM91 but the original one was RM83. So...lol....Probably not gonna go for any limited edition ones after this.

Next...

Fix+ Spray

This is also a cult favourite. I wanted to try out a travel size one but when you calculate the product volume and price it's really not worth it. Better buy the full version.

The web says "a lightweight water mist that gently soothes and refreshes skin and finishes makeup".
Lemme say, it is definitely not a setting spray that won't make your makeup budge.
Not that kind. That kind I observe, doesn't usually smell very pleasant. harhar

This one leans more towards finishing your makeup base such that everything that you've applied on your face will settle down nicely and makes the makeup look better.
It smells nice and they have a few fragrances ranging from none, cucumber, lavender and rose.
The limited edition one smelled like cherry blossoms. I got mine in lavender. Smells wonderful.

It makes my makeup look much more pleasant to look at and I also use it to refresh my face if I'm out the whole day. A spritz of energy!!

Ingredient list
The product retails for RM105 for 100mL. Not sure how much is the limited edition one but most probably a bit more expensive.

That is all from me.
I hope you guys have a nice time.
Cheers, XX

[Review] Rom&and Zero Matte Lipstick in #10 Before Sunset

Hi lovelies,

Another day, another review.
Today I'll be reviewing the cult favourite brand, Rom&and. They have beautiful lip products and they range from lipsticks to lip gloss, matte one, velvet one...you name it.

The brand is actually quite popular in Korea but there's no physical shop here in Malaysia yet.
The only way you can find this brand is at MLBB (they have a few stores in Malaysia, none in East)
MLBB has a variety of brands like Rom&and, A'pieu, Piciberry and some more, albeit not that many product variety of each brand.
We have an A'pieu store here which I think might (might ah) be changed to MLBB as well.

I only have ONE item from Piciberry which is their crayon eyeshadow I think. I'll see how to review that later.

Continue..the lipstick.

Overall, it's very nice to use. The texture is matte but when you apply it, it doesn't drag on your lips.
Application is very smooth and you get a very opaque colour with one swipe.

The colour that I chose belongs to a line of that brand but I forgot what it is. Something to do with sunsets maybe. *Checked* Yes, it belongs to the sunset line. How fitting.
The colour is almost a brick red colour but it has some pink in it. So like muted red I guess.

Maybe that red you see before the sun sets. Get it hahahaha
(okay enough...)

The longevity is good. Doesn't rub off easily and and there's a bit of a staining to it.
Because of the dark colour.

Price. I can't really recall but it's less than RM50 I think.

That's all for this little review. I hope you guys like it.
See you next time ^-^

[Review] Holika Holika NuDrop Dewy Stick #01 See Through Peach and NuDrop Lumi Cheek #01 Caramel Lustre

Hi lovelies,

Today I will be reviewing the not so long ago released, Nu Drop Collection from Holika Holika.
I believe from my observation that this line is geared more towards glowy makeup.

So I got only two items because they're quite expens haha
I got the lipstick dewy stick and the blusher. The blusher I was kinda hoping it would be a dupe for
Mac glow blusher but it wasn't really up to par though.

Here we go

First the lipstick

The texture is really nice and creamy. It has a balmy feeling to it.
That's why I thought it wouldn't stay on the lips so much. But I was   w r o n g
Afterwards, I realised that it leaves behind an actual tint but I gather it would disappear after you eat.
Nevertheless, it was nice to know that it has a bit of a staining ability.

I chose the colour because I wanted something that would look very natural
and I'm happy that it did just that. If you have naturally pinkish or reddish lip (lucky you),
this would be just a lip balm for you.
Lip Swatch. My bare lips is actualy paler.
That’s just the lighting tricking me. 😒

There is not much of a fragrance or if there is, it is very faint.

Moving on,
Next is the blusher.

The first thing I noticed, is the fragrance! Smells like soap, really, I kid you not.
If you don't like it, it would be best to stay away. I don't mind it but I know some people
would not like it. It's quite strong yea compared to the lipstick.

I used my fingers to take the product and there were some actual whitish material formed on the blusher, which I assumed is the material that gives you the glow effect.

Applying on the face is pretty easy and the end result is not bad. It gives you a nice healthy glow indeed. You can also use it as a cream highlighter. I used my fingers but you can also use a brush if you like.
I think I applied almost 3 layers.
Look at that glowww
What is highlighter

Pigmentation is not really strong so you need to apply it a few times. But too much might result in tackiness or slimyness (lol) on you face.

The staying power is not very long and easily rubbed off so you can carry this in your purse if you want to touch up. It's quite small so it won't take that much space.

If you want a more pigmented colour, you're welcome to try the other colours but I'm pretty sure there won't be much of a difference.
Swatch
Because we needs.
Full face of both.
Looks earthy.
Mother nature
I got mine through the shopee official store
Both was RM47.60.
They also have some cute watermelon masks. Yes...I like ^-^ I also took it. muahaha
I like it so much that I used it as my background for the pics. Hahaha
They smell great but they don’t have any watermelon motifs on the actual mask which I had hoped.

That's all from me.
I hope you guys enjoyed this review and see you later. ^^

[Review] MAC Versicolour Varnish Cream Lip Stain in 103 Like Candy

Hi lovelies,

I’m back with another review. I hope I can schedule a few during these RMO.

I find that it’s quite hard to find reviews on some of Mac lip cream or lip stains. Is it just me?
That is why I’m determined to write my review for some of my mac products that are not really reviewed.

I had another post for this ——-> https://diyanamusa.blogspot.com/2019/11/review-mac-versicolour-stain-in-always.html . I did mentioned that this was coming in the mail hehe

I’m not really sure what’s the differences between the stain and the cream stain but if you go by the name, it would be that this one is more creamier or thicker in consistency.
It is slightly more thick I think and it feels like a thick lip gloss.
Swatch

Pigmentation is really strong and opaque. You don’t need to apply many many times to cover you lips. The product does not feel tacky as well. I was deliberating whether to choose this or 104 Stuck In Love but went for this. Hopefully I can find 104 for cheap somewhere. ^-^*

As per the name, it adheres well to the lips and does not get wiped off easily. There will be a stain left on your lips after you eat. That’s a plus!

If you’re lazy to keep on applying your lip product then this is the product for you.
Price is RM104 in store and on the website.
They usually come with free shipping.
So, go on and try it if you can. You will not be disappointed.

Till next time
Cheers

[Review] Etude House Melting Chocolat Lip Scrub (Mint Chocolate)

Hi lovelies,

I’m here to review for youse, the lip scrub from Etude House. Bought this a few months back and tried it a few times.

The product comes in a small glass jar.

The product looks like mint chocolate gelato.
Smells like one too.
Definitely do not taste like one though. Haha

Based on the instructions, you apply it on your bare lips. Wait 30 seconds,
Rub it carefully for 30 seconds (not to harsh yea, you might skin your lips).
After that, you may wash it off or use a damp cloth to wipe the product off.

The end result is clean, smooth and healthy lips.

That’s basically it though haha
The product is simple and it does it’s job.
Till next time,

Cheers

[Review] COSRx Centella Blemish Ampoule and Blemish Cream

Hi lovelies, June already aye... Lemme me just say, I haven't been going out of the house nor have I been using makeup for the last 3 mo...
