[Review] Oil-blotting/ No Sebum Powder Battle (Innisfree, The Face Shop and Silky Girl)

Hi lovelies,

Today I'll write about all the sebum powders (I think that sounds about right??)
It's easier to call it sebum powder so...hahah
It's the war of the powders...

There are many types of sebum powders available in the market. At first I only see them in the korean shops but nowadays I see local brands carrying these powders as well. Yayyy

On to it..

1) Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder
This was the first one I bought and it's finish after 1 1/2  year hahahah. I mainly bought it because the face called out to me. Few seconds later, it's on the counter liao...hahah
I don't use much but I was glad that I bought it that I went and bought another one in another limited edition case, this time it's a cute action bunny. uwu
I saw on IG that they're gonna release a special mentos edition as well so if you like mentos, go geddit!
응 아니야

I use this powder to remove the excess oil on my face after applying makeup as well as throughout the day to remove oil on my face. Sometimes I pour a a bit ob my head to remove the oiliness especially if I'm walking out the whole day. I have bangs so this definitely came in handy when my bangs looked a bit flat because of the oil.

Heads up! There's a hint of fragrance but it's not a strong and overpowering one.

It's not that expensive (~RM20+)and it lasts you for a long time so go on and have a try is you guys are still deciding whether to buy it or not. That's why you're here right? heheh

2) The Face Shop Oil Clear Blotting Pact
I'm not kidding, this one was purely because of aesthetic but assa I didn't buy it myself.
My sister bought it for me for my birthday because I keep saying I like it. yayy
Price-wise, this is the most expensive out of the three (Almost RM60). This one is limited edition but I'm not sure if they have it on their own or not.

This one is basically the same sebum powder but compacted. So you can use it on your face but if you want to use it on your hair, you need to use the puff and apply it on your hair or use a powder brush. I don't think the puff can stay very clean for long if you use it on your head so that's why I rarely use this for my head. But I bring it around to mattify my face and a plus is that it has a mirror. wahhh

3) Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Powder
Aha!! This one...How can this be different from the first one?
Well, I also asked...I'll try my best to explain easily. There's not a lot anyways..
Basically, the mineral powder is to remove oil yea and mattify your face..
But this one does all that plus it blurs your pores making your face look flawless...kinda kindda.
So it's like a primer but in powder form.
The colour is light brown and not white like the others.
There's also a compact version buuuuuttt,  I dropped mine one day and the powder flew on the street. so bye bye.  I got this one because it seems safer.

Fragrance....yes....like the mineral powder as well.
Price is a bit more expensive than the mineral powder.

4) Silky Girl
I bought this because I had a whole day of competition and I don't want my face to look so oily throughout the whole day. Yes...I forgot all those 3 at home..
This one was inexpensive and I can use it on my hair and hand as well during my competition. Useful for both bowling and badminton. So this one is always in my sports bag..

It's not bad. It's actually almost similar to the Innisfree one and the price if no discount is actually almost the same but Watsons always have discounts yeayy. (RM22.90)

[Review] Etude House Color Lips-Fit in PK003, OR202 and WH901

Hello lovelies~

I know I'm a bit behind on this product but I care not..hahaha.

So, I'm gonna write about Etude House Color/ Colour Lips-Fit which they released early this year (2014) for spring I think. I have the colours PK003 (Fantasy Fit Pink), OR202 (Wannafit Orange) and WH901 ( Clear Gloss). prettyyy~
They have a summer edition but I've never seen them on the shelves in Malaysia though.

From left: OR202 and PK003
I bought them on separate occasions so I decided I'm gonna do a review for them altogether in one post for convenience. I got 5 mini WH901 as freebies when I bought PK003 but I didn't take any pictures of it except for the swatch. sorry~
They retail for 59.90 in Etude House stores in Malaysia and they are really popular and sells out fast.

This is their full collection

Lipbalm: Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry
kinda misspelt WH901 there.

The Colours

OR202 (Wannafit Orange)

This was the first colour lips-fit that I bought. The name is Wannafit Orange but the colour leans more to reddish with a tinge of orange. I like reddish (not to dramatic kinda red) because it makes me look really alive but I don't like wearing it on a daily basis.

PK003 (Fantasy Fit Pink)

As I stated above, I prefer not to use too bright and dark lip colours on a daily basis so that's why I got this colour. Aaaaand..I love it! It's a pretty pink colour and it's not to bright for me so it doesn't makes me look washed out. It looks kinda coral in the swatch but it's actually really pink.

WH901

This is basically just a clear gloss because ( I think a lot of people would know this already) the Lips-fit have a matte finish and are really really drying. Terrible for dry lips people like moi~ So, this is to prevent your lips from drying out but wearing it means it won't be a matte anymore (if you know what I'm talking about)..ughh..the dilemma~

You guys are probably wondering why I have a swatch of Bunny Pop as well.
I have experimented on how to prevent the lips-fit from settling in the cracks and fine lines of my lips and I have found that by wearing a very milky hydrating lip stain as a base prevents the lips-fit from drying out the lips too much. oooohhh~
Here I used Etude House Colour Shine Pop Tint in #6 Bunny Pop which is a milky pink colour. I think this would work with any type of milky tint like the Etude House Fresh Cherry Tints or The Face Shop Lovely Me;Ex Milky Tint.

So if you guys have the same problem, do try this nifty trick and see if it works. I wouldn't mind if you want to comment me your feedback as well. I would love to know if this technique really works for you too :)

The Box

The Instructions
If you are having a problem reading this~~

"This is a revolutionary liquid type lipstick that moistly glides onto lips with its vivid color and finishes off with a weightless powdery texture
[Directions] 1. Shake well before use 2. Apply smoothly with tip. Lightly dab onto center of lips for gardation. Delicately apply for full cover. 3. Apply a layer of Color Lips-Fit WH901 after color for moist gloss.
[Caution] 1. Use only as directed. 2. Avoid storing in high and low temperatures and areas exposed to direct sunlight. 3. Cease use if problems arise."

My two cents on this

-Vivid...yes. yes it is. Very vivid indeed.
- Weightless powdery texture...I'm guessing they're trying to describe matte and yes it does feel kinda weightless.
- Shake well...There's a small metal ball inside like those in nail varnish bottles which I think is for mixing purposes.
- The gradation part...It's really hard to do a gradation with the Lips-Fit. I find applying your concealer on the outside part of your lips first after that apply your colour at the center then blend using a cotton tip kinda helps.

Lastly, exfoliating reallllly helps ;)

 Staying Power

I find that when I'm wearing Bunny Pop as a base, it doesn't transfer (much) after it settles and it stays on for about 3-4 hours (with minimal drinking and eating).  >__<

That is all for my review (mostly lengthy talk). I hope you find this interesting and am looking forward to reviewing some more products. Too busy with uni and assignments.

Lip Tints ^^~*

Love them~<3
The reason is because of their staying power~ Even if you apply them in the morning, They will still be on your lips in the evening..yes,even after you lick your lips the whole day~ ^_^

I'm going to post some of my favorite tints~

Etude House Miss Tangerine Lip Tint (RM 20+)
It's very watery and it smells like orange ^^
But be careful when applying because you might look like you've just drank 1 huge bottle of orange soda.

Holika Holika Holy Berry Tint in #2 Raspberry (RM 23.90)
I like this one a lot because it's not too strong and it looks natural~ but if you prefer a more intense color then #1 Strawberry is your berry ^^

The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex in Peach (RM30+)
This one works well as an undertone for your more intense colored lip tints but it works well alone as well ^^

This is a picture of me wearing TFS Milky Tint and HH Holy Berry Tint~
but you can't really see the pink tint because I only lined a lot more to the innerside of my lips.. plus I can't capture it using the camera but it's quite pretty in real life though~ ^_^

Just a tip..if your lips chap easily, be sure to apply lip balm before your tint~

[Review] COSRx Centella Blemish Ampoule and Blemish Cream
