[Review] Rom&and Lip Gloss in #11 Pink Pumpkin and #07 Jujube

Hi lovelies,

Yayy Rom&and again today.

I ordered one of it from the website mlbb.com last time, liked the colour so much that I went and bought another one at the physical store at Sunway Pyramid.

I know they have another collection of lip gloss that's more glossy but it's not available physically in Malaysia so you need to buy from Shopee. They're almost Rm50 for one so I'll wait until I finish the ones I have first. Not easy when you keep seeing them on your IG feed yea...

The texture of these lip gloss are very light and and easy to apply. They're not runny and they sit nicely on the lips. They don't feel tacky and sticky at all.

Pigmentation is nice and quite strong. They do have tinting properties but not really strong so that's nice and okay for me. In these hot days, I don't feel like using products that are so matte all the time because I'll be hot and dehydrated as well anyways. hahah

Anyways, as for transferring onto other objects. After it sits on your lips for a while, the first when you go drink or eat, there will be a bit of transfer but after that there won't be any anymore.
I’ll add in extra pictures once I’ve taken them yea haha

There are many other colours to choose from, you can check them out on the website or find them on Shopee or the global Olive Young webbsite.

I hope you  guys have enjoyed this little review.
Stay home and stay safe (2020 motto).
I'll see you guys another time yea.
Bye...

[Review] Rom&and Zero Matte Lipstick in #10 Before Sunset

Hi lovelies,

Another day, another review.
Today I'll be reviewing the cult favourite brand, Rom&and. They have beautiful lip products and they range from lipsticks to lip gloss, matte one, velvet one...you name it.

The brand is actually quite popular in Korea but there's no physical shop here in Malaysia yet.
The only way you can find this brand is at MLBB (they have a few stores in Malaysia, none in East)
MLBB has a variety of brands like Rom&and, A'pieu, Piciberry and some more, albeit not that many product variety of each brand.
We have an A'pieu store here which I think might (might ah) be changed to MLBB as well.

I only have ONE item from Piciberry which is their crayon eyeshadow I think. I'll see how to review that later.

Continue..the lipstick.

Overall, it's very nice to use. The texture is matte but when you apply it, it doesn't drag on your lips.
Application is very smooth and you get a very opaque colour with one swipe.

The colour that I chose belongs to a line of that brand but I forgot what it is. Something to do with sunsets maybe. *Checked* Yes, it belongs to the sunset line. How fitting.
The colour is almost a brick red colour but it has some pink in it. So like muted red I guess.

Maybe that red you see before the sun sets. Get it hahahaha
(okay enough...)

The longevity is good. Doesn't rub off easily and and there's a bit of a staining to it.
Because of the dark colour.

Price. I can't really recall but it's less than RM50 I think.

That's all for this little review. I hope you guys like it.
See you next time ^-^

[Review] Etude House BIG Concealer Skin Fit Pro in Natural Peach

Hi lovelies,

This post would be about the new Concealer from Etude House, the skin fit concealer.
I assume skin fit, it will fit to your skin and looks natural 😏

They have a lot shades for this concealer line and they also have corrector. Mine would be categorised under corrector as is more of a light salmon colour. The sole purpose of me buying this was because I was aiming to find a corrector that can hide my dark circles and which I can use it on it’s own without a foundation on top. I waited for quite a while for this colour to arrive and when it finally, I snatched it immediately. Getting a discount too...EH have a lot of discounts and promotions 😍

Swatch and how I apply
Okay, it hides the dark circle (yes). Off camera, it looks very natural and you can’t see any dark circles.
It does creases in any fine lines you have, so you need to blend and set it well to avoid them.

Overall, I love this product and I always use it when I don’t want to use heavy makeup. My normal makeup routine is sunscreen, concealer and powder. That’s enough to get me through the day...
Lonegvity-wise, if you don’t sweat a lot daily, you will find this concealer staying for the entire day.
Would definitely get this again after I run out.

Price is RM40 but you often find Etude House with discounts. I actually got mine for RM30 because there was a promotion going on at that time.
Hope you enjoy this blog post and see you guys next time ^^

[Review] Etude House Dear Darling Water Gel Tint in RD307 Watermelon Red

Hi lovelies,

I’ve had this product for quite a long time already and I thought I should write up some of my thoughts about it.
The Dear Darling Tint has long been a fan favourite because of the cute design. It looks like an ice cream popsicle 😍😍

Look at that cute design! They thought it all UwU
They have another soda bottle design but I haven’t seen those at the store in my place yet. Maybe they’re limited edition or maybe I didn’t look for it better haha
The application tip is small but enough for the lips ^^. As you can slightly observe, the formula is quite runny but don’t be fooled, it is small but strong.

Here are some swatches

Look at that stain!!

Bare Lips

Beautiful

Look at how strong that stain is and I only left it for a few minutes yea. Wooo >3> It also has a sweet fruity smell that I like. Suits the concept very well
Because of the runny formula, you’re gonna have to spread it a few times to get the colour opacity that you want but once it’s there, it stays. 🤩🤩
I do have a problem with any tint not staining my upper lip so much but I think a lot of people have that problem 🤔
Anyho, the longevity is very good and can survive through drinks and a meal.

I don’t remember the price but I don’t think it was that expensive though.
You can find it your nearest Etude House flagship store or online.
Hope you enjoy the review and see you guys next time.

Cheers, xx

[Review] Innisfree My Lip Balm in 07 Dried Rose Tea

Hi lovelies,

Sorry, I couldn’t post more often but I’ve been trying out a lot of products over these times and I have discovered some products that I like and don’t.
This is one of the products that I do like ^^

It’s the Innisfree My Lip Balm in Dried Rose Tea.

I came across this whilst looking for coloured lip balms as I was going through a period of time where my lips were chapping really bad and I couldn’t use lipsticks. *cry cry* T____T
The main ingredient would be the Tea Complex as all the other varieties had ‘tea’ in their name. Hoho

Positive
- The texture was smooth and not runny at all (You do not want lip products running down your lips yea *true story*)👶
- It was hydrating
- Longevity was not bad for a lip balm.
- Does not look oily.
- Had a slight tinge colour so I don’t look dead. On the website, it says the balm can find the tone and temperature of your lips so I guess the colour would be slightly different for each person.

Negative
- The applicator can be a bit messy. I tend to wipe it clean after using but when I open it again, it would be messed up. There’s a small prick like tip in the cover that is supposed to prevent the product from getting out but it also pushes out the excess product that I pushed when I applied prior.
(From my long ranting, it’s just a technical error and I just like to point it out) *for fun* hehehe
- The fragrance
It smells like dried rose/ potpourri which I’m not a big fan of. I knew it when I bought the lip balm but luckily it goes away after a while.
- A bit expensive

Lip swatch

Overall, fragrance aside it’s a pretty good lip balm and I like the colour. There are some variety of colours including a clear one. I would love to try the other ones if they smell better. Haha
I took dried rose because of the colour.

Price is RM47 on the official website.

I hope you guys enjoy the review.
xoxo 😚

[Review] Chriszen Moist Cake in 02

Hye Lovelies :)

So I've just finished my exams and having my super short semester break but I want to make sure I will be doing something productive for the internet community. That includes planning the movies I'm gonna watch to get a chance to go to New Zealand!! haha

In this post, I'm going to write about one of Chriszen most raved product on Instagram but it's not something that one can't really get a hold of on the internet for reviews and how-to etc.

In the post, I'll try my best to walk you through the good and probably some bad things about the product. Everything has its pros and cons right...

The one I have is in the shade 02 (pink), there's 01 (light pink) and 03 (olive). The store recommended 02 so..I got 02. I don't really know if 03 is gonna be more towards warm but from the video I saw posted by EvangelineHawa, it doesn't look like it.

So the product comes in a pink bulky packaging so you might not want to bring this in your handbag or something but I think it can withstand travelling. I hope

It comes with a round sponge. I prefer not to use it because it makes it really hard for me to apply the product especially around the corner of my nose and eyes.

When you open it up, you can see spirals which reminds me of the Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer Baby Glow balm that I reviewed some time ago. So, the coloured part is the foundation and the white part is the L-Glutathione (an antioxidant which fights radicals to prevent the production of melanin if my memory serves me right) part which serves to make your face whiter. What you do is mix the two parts to get the shade for yourself and apply it on your face.
Deng! It's really hard (especially with the round sponge) to get the correct amount of foundation and gluta to get YOUR personal shade because if you get too much of the white part, you're gonna end up whiter than Snow White. haha

What I usually do is use a blending sponge (Chriszen has their own one which I think is much much better than the round sponge) with a round bottom and pointy end. That makes blending much much more easier, What I do is I dampen the sponge and swirl the bottom to get a good enough mixture then dot them on my face. Using the pointy end, I blend the product and that usually gives me quite a natural bright looking face. I set it with powder and all is well even though they do say that it sets to a powder finish, I don't really see that though. hmm...Oh well. Doesn't really matter to me :)

The subsequent pictures show the ampoule that comes free when I bought the cake. (hehe cake). So it's supposed to moisturise the face before using the cake. It contains gluta as well as some gold flakes. I don't actually know if it's gold though, I might look up for something in the lab to test it but for know, I'll accept. It kinda reminds me of Clinelle 24K cream though...kinda. So what I do with this is put 2 drops as it directs me to, on my palm then pat it on my face. It actually has some kind of cooling effect but I have no idea what it actually does. Definitely not a primer.

Swatches

Unblended dot
As you can see, I call that a dot. Just in case anyone wants to know. ^___^
Blended
As you can see it blends well with my vampire wrist but my face is a bit more tanned so I had to blend it harder. I guess it has more of a cool rather than a warm undertone to it. My undertone is kinda neutral.

A dot from the Gold ampoule
Not much difference in looks but makes my hand feel hydrated and cool. The different colour is due to different lighting conditions in my room at the time. Cloudy Sun moment.

How I look with it

So...I do look brighter which is good. I put some on my neck just in case I go too white. It did manage to conceal a bit of my dark circles but I don't recommend applying another layer because it's gonna look super cakey. It covers some part of my blemishes and pores as well but I can still see them with my naked eyes. It definitely did not make my face smaller, it's just the camera angle XD hahaahah

Pictures

Ingredients!!

Longetivity

It lasts for half a day if you use it in the morning. If you want to reapply, maybe wash your face or wipe with a wet tissue before applying a new layer to get a much more natural look. It doesn't make my face oily but that would probably be because my classes are air conditioned. It feels slightly oilier when I tried wearing it at home because it's super hot in Malaysia right now.

Price

I think it retails for RM48 something. I bought mine from Sharifah Trading with a discount card so I got it for RM 42.90...I think. A tad bit expensive but it comes with the free ampoule which retails for RM29 or 30 alone so it's a bargain.

In a coconut shell

It's a good product if you can blend it to your skin properly but a disaster if you don't. It took me some practices with different applicators and I found that the sponge works best for me so I'll stick to that. If you just bought it or planning to then practice applying it before actually using before you need to go out or something because you don't want to receive any poisonous apples from no witch are you? I thought so.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading the post albeit it's a bit longer than I used to write but this is usually the case when I writing about foundations/BB/CC creams.

Have a good day lovelies
Cheers XX

[Review] Etude House CC Cream in Silky

I haven't had the time to post things because our house internet line had gone completely loopy and we had to keep asking them to fix it. But, it's stable...for now. So I'll try to put in as much reviews as I can as I had gone loopy myself and bought tons of makeup that my friends might do an intervention for me XD

Let's start aye ^^
This is mine ^^

I've actually had it for quite some time now (few months) and I got it off roseroseshop.com. Their store is amazing and the shipping is great. :) I don't remember the price but I think it was around GBP 10-13.

It claims to have 8 multi-functions in 1 (don't know if I wrote that correctly but bah) haha. [this are what it says on the box)
  • Anti-Aging
  • Stress Relief
  • Hydration
  • Whitening
  • Sun Protection
  • Tone Up
  • Smooth Texture
  • Luminosity
1) Anti-Aging and Stress Relief
I don't really know about it's anti-aging and stress relieving properties but I guess it's in the ingredients. sorry~
However, it does have a a scent that makes me happy when I apply it so it somewhat relieves my getting ready in the morning stress. ㅋㅋㅋ

2) Hydration
It's a water based cream so it moisturizes the skin. I use it after I apply my moisturizer so it's hard to tell if gives good hydration or not. I do notice it emphasized my dry areas though, but that can be prevented if you exfoliate well. ^^ (It's autumn so my face gets dry far too quickly for my liking)

3) Whitening
This I agree, it really brightens my skin so I often use it under my eyes first. Then, I would either apply it onto areas that need brightening or to my whole face. Depends on whether I'll be using any BB cream or foundation afterwards. I do secretly hope it magically whitens my skin in the long run. >__<

4) Sun Protection
The cream contains an SPF of 30/ PA++ so you can skip the sunscreen if you won't be under the sun the whole day. It's bad if you're planning to take any flash photography because it will just reflect the light and make you look bad. :(

5) Tone Up and Smooth Texture
hmmm..This seems to relate about making your face feels smoother after application. It makes a good make-up base or primer. XP

6) Luminosity
It suppose to give you a healthy kinda glow which I like because my skin is normally dull and gloomy so it makes me look fresh when I use it. ~happy girl~

Swatches on my hand and face :)

It has micro capsules that burst when you rub them

You'll end up with this colour

Then blend it more
On ma face

bare faced with redness and dark eye circles

hard to find the same lighting

The redness is gone and under eye circle is brightened up a little bit

I still have to use some concealer under my eyes.
It has a really light coverage compare to bb creams and I actually use this on a day to day basis.

I would totally repurchase it, maybe in glow but I also want try the other cc creams in the market. ^^
Though I do love my etude house. ㅋㅋ

I hope you guys enjoyed this review now. Bye~ :))

Tony Moly Cat Chu Wink in Orange Cha Cha

I've been using this tint for a while now. It took me some to think before buying it because I don't have really good experience with liquid tints. Hahaha XP
My lips are too sensitive and they crack easily. I dread winter. =___=

I bought this is Malaysia for RM29.90. I decided to go for orange because I now have a love for orange lips..hahaha.

It's easy to bring around and it doesn't leak..thankfully. It's a very vivid orange so use with care XD
It's not really thick but it's not too thin of a liquid. Kinda in the middle and moisturising but it does gets dry overtime so keep a lip balm handy if you guys are such sensitive princesses like me. Haha

This is a collage of me sloppily putting it on my lips creating such a weird look and I ended up have to put my revlon tutti fruti on top to cover it because I was going out after that. I recommend putting one layer then dab evenly with your finger. Layer it again if you want. I usually go for 2 layers anyway. ^____^

For smell, it does have a mandarin smell which a lot of orange tints have and trust me, don't taste it. Hahaha

Staying power...quite long if you don't too much oily food or if you don't lick your lips too much. Good thing it's handy to carry around.

안녕~ 행쇼~<3

Etude House Dear My Jelly Lips Talk JOR202

Firstly, I want to express my small disappointment after finding out that this lipstick did turn out to be that orangey colour  that I hoped for but I have learned to love that colour, so no problem.

In my opinion, there is not much difference to JPK001. Both are pinkish tints and both are effectively keeping my lips moist and healthy-looking. ^^<3

This is a picture of 1) nothing on the lips 2) first application and 3) second application
I'm not fond of bright lip colours so I just put it on lightly so you don't really see much difference there but the colour does intensifies if you apply more and maybe stay on longer.

So, just like jpk001, this
a) does not dry out my lips (even without lip balm)
b) smells nice but won't taste or smell it anymore after application
c) cute packaging
d) lasts for a long time (even after eating and drinking, still depends on what you take though, I think)

Since this lipstick does not dry out my lips, I'm gonna look at more shades when I go to korea. 안녕~ for now. ^^

[Review] COSRx Centella Blemish Ampoule and Blemish Cream

Hi lovelies, June already aye... Lemme me just say, I haven't been going out of the house nor have I been using makeup for the last 3 mo...
