[Review] Maybelline Pure Mineral Concealer in 02 Natural

Hello~

This post will be about one of Maybelline's celebrated concealer (as of what I've seen ;P)
Their Pure Mineral Concealer (Healthy natural concealer with micro minerals) *a mouthful*
Mine is in 02 Natural (I had to literally translate this from Katakana because everything was in Japanese) XD *originally Nachuraru*

Quoted from Maybelline "100% MICRO-MINERAL PIGMENTS
Contains 0% OIL, TALC & FRAGRANCE
Good for skin concealer

Why You'll Love It

  • Blends easily for complete coverage
  • Improves under-eye skin
  • Proven to reduce redness and dark spots, soothe signs of fatigue, hydrate under-eye skin
  • All-day natural coverage
  • Won’t clog pores
  • Ophthalmologist-tested
  • Contains 0% oil, 0% talc and 0% fragrance

For Best Results

Dot concealer onto imperfections or under eyes. Pat with finger to blend."

Them pictures for your eyes only :)

The tube
As you can see...everything on the bottle is in Japanese. I guess it's more for Asian skin tone because there are 3 shades in the maybelline site but only 2 shades in Watson Malaysia and the rest of the place that I found. It retails for Rm21.05 but i got it for RM18 something during watsons sale. The other shade available in Malaysia (or Asia maybe) is 01 Beige. That's more lighter than 02 which can be used for highlighting too. Wanted to get that one as I had thought that it would be better to get something lighter than my dark under eye to conceal it but 02 was the only one available so what the heck.

Wrist swatch
When I swatch it on my wrist, I thought it was a tad to dark but then I realised...my face is a bit darker than my wrists which looked like it have never seen the light of day. It looked okay when blended so I was happy. There was no adverse reaction..so on my face it went.

Face swatch XD lol
I didn't really follow the instruction on dotting it then blending. I don't also usually apply like in the picture (I don't know why I did tha XD) gosh. I usually use the wand and apply 3 streaks making it look like a triangle under my eyes then blending it out. If it's around, I use my sponge but 90% of the time I use my ring finger to tap everything in place. :)
My verdict :)

I am totally in love with this concealer!
Much more than my MAC Studio Finish concealer (NW30) which is a bit dark for since I lost my tan some time ago.
This concealer is very long lasting and it covers my under eye darkness perfectly..I don't know if it fixed anything but I just find it really good at hiding the darkness. I have been searching high and low for a good concealer...aaaaaand I think I've found it. Bummer if they decide to stop producing it or something. I hope not. *touch wood*
However, it does get into the creases beneath my eyes after a while and to prevent that, I use a primer before applying the concealer. Works like magic :)

I have never really tried it for my dark spots or anything because I usually just let them be but I think it would be too liquidy for your spots though. Sometimes I just pat the extra that I have on my finger on the spot and it does reduce the pigmentation a bit. A bit.

So to sum it up, I was not disappointed with this product because I usually can't use maybelline products on my face because it makes my face oily so I'm glad this one turned out really well. Definitely will repurchase this. Maybe two so I can put one in my bag as backup. :D

Thanks for reading lovelies. See you guys soon :) Cheers~

[Review] Za Pure Shine Lips Lipstick in 09 Red Coral

Happy Sunday lovelies~

Chinese New Year holiday just ended and I can finally sit down and write up a blogpost. Two if possible...If~

So, since I am still in my cny mood, I'll post about something red. Today, that is the Za Pure Shine Lips Lipstick in Red Coral #09.

The lipstick is very sheer and it's good if you want a a wash of colour on your lips. I have very pale lips so sometimes I use this on it's own or on top of a lip stain to add some moisture.

It's actually quite similar to Elizabeth Arden sheer lipstick. I remember seeing a colour having a similar shade to this but Za's is about a quarter much cheaper than that lipstick.

This is it with le cap on. Za imprints all over.  Though the way I took the picture, the case looks kinda absurdly tall but it's actually normal sized. haha

Pigmentation

The finish, as I had mentioned earlier is sheer. So, even if you layer it, the colour wouldn't build up much and it comes to a point where you'll only get that much of colour.

There are some glitters but you can't really see them on the lips.

Ingredients

Nope. I don't have it. Not sure if I didn't take a picture of it or there were none.
But....I have these pictures.

Contains mosturizing agents [Collagen Complex, Hyaluronic acid and Evening primrose oil, provides long-lasting rich moisture and prevents dryness.)
It has mosturizing agents to keeps your lips mosturised. lol (very helpful of me..)
Prismatic Red Pigment....well. That I don't know how or even what to explain.
I found somewhere on a site "The prismatic red pigment
emits a shiny red hue to provide a sheer and brilliantly pure colour"

However, if anybody knows more..feel free to comment down below yea. :)

Directions

They provide you a direction on how to use..

I don't bother using a lip brush because it's very sheer and applied directly from the tube.

I don't have any lip swatch but the colour is quite similar to the arm swatch. ^^

Fragrance

None :)

Staying Power

Stays for a few hours but disappears after meals.

Price

Retails for RM27.90. You can find it in Watson, Guardian, Sasa, etc. I got mine on sale in Everise for RM16.

[Review] Simply Pretty Colorlast Lipstick in Peachy Pink, SweetStrawberry, Celebrity Red and Constant Pink.

Hello~

So..I haven't been active for some time but long story short, I just became an Avon dealer with the id card and all that.

It's been so long since I've used avon products so it was quite exciting to flip through the book again. One particular thing that caught my eye was a lipstick ( oh yes) that they claim to be transfer proof. The name is Simply Pretty Colorlast Lipstick.  I really like that term so I wanted to try it since it's on sale.

I tried one, tested it's transfer resistant claim and amazingly..it actually works!! The joy~~ So I got a few more shades before the sale ends. The shades that I got was Sweet Strawberry, Celebrity Red, Peachy Pink and Constant Pink (new addition)

Figure 1: *Peachy Pink*

Lip Swatch

- I actually think it's frosty because it has this sort of frost look to it but it has a pretty colour. The least pigmented of them.

Figure 2: *Celebrity Red

Lip Swatch

- Reddish orange colour. The one that I like most because it just lights up the face :)

**Figure 3: *Sweet Strawberry*
** Too bad I don't have this picture anymore nor can I take another one because I gave it to my sister already. She likes these type colour.

- Dark red almost going to purple colour. Almost burgundy one would say.

Figure 4: *Constant Pink*

This is my newest addition and I actually carry this tube everywhere for touch ups. A very pretty deep pink colour.

Arm Swatch

*the names might be different in different places because I found it very hard to look for reviews on these colours*

The tube. (It's really light)
This is how product you get :)

~Ingredients
- on the plastic cover (threw it away)

~Fragrance
- there's a hint of fragrance but it's not that overpowering.

~Pigmentation
- it's very pigmented and gives you good colour payoff.

~Type
- creamy matte though I think Peachy pink feels a bit like semi matte.

~Staying Power
- very good. Around 4-6 hours without consumption of greasy food.
- transfer resistant? Yes yes yes. ^^
- A way that I found useful is after application, you blot and then reapply then blot again to remove excess product and it will be transfer resistant. Hope this trick works for you too ;)

~Price
- on sale for around RM 12 but it changes according to the campaign so you gotta check with your Avon store or dealer.

~Amount
- 2g

~Overall
- this product had exceeded my expectation. Am thinking of getting the peach "Mauve Delight" colour during the next campaign. :) hehe

*Looking forward to more Avon stuff~~ :3

Hope you guys found the review helpful and Thanks for reading~ ^^
Cheers xx
